I have only recently stated building and using scenics and after trying some other product I eventually purchased Caverns, Dungeons, Dungeon expansion, Terrian and Sewers, all in Black and White. The non Microtactix sets I bought were color and I was horrified at how fast you'll sprint through ink cartridges. The Microtactix sets have enough artwork so printing on appropriate colored paper works very well in making attractive scenes. Also you get "furniture" with most of the sets like chests, bookcases and so forth. The pieces have clear instructions and most assemble easily, the tricky ones are the most visually striking ones and are more time consuming than difficult. I really like the products from this company. I found this very useful for my exteriors, and the design was really easy to put together. Great set, and price too.

If you need nice, basic scenery that won't suck your printer dry or give you a fit if a coke tips over, this is it. Or you're not an ink miser like me you can get it in color. As always, Microtactix does a great job.

Again, Excellent product from MicroTactix. As with the Dirt Cheep Dungeons, I have found that it is best to build each part separtely an as individual blocks (Like with the Heroic Dungeons). This cuts down the amout you have to build and saves time. You can then reuse each block for infanite combinations without have to build a lot of sections. I have also found that gluing corrugated card to the inside gives the Cavern blocks strength and weight. I have had no regrets geting this product and I recomend it. ... [read full review]
