This is the best SG so far. The content is OK but the rules to build your own sweet M16 are priceless. If you are not a fan of SGs (too small, no dead tree version, etc.) give it a break and get this one.

For any cost, a poor resource.
For free, an invaluable resource! If you play Twilight 2013 and this download is still free, you need to pick this up. Easy to print, clean, and with the worksheets. As the previous review said, you probably don't need this with the PDF core book, but for those of us with the hard copy books, this saves your rulebook a spine-breaking trip to the photocopier.

Wait normally $9.99? It is the pages out of the back of the book!
What!?! If you have the PDF of the core book, do not buy this!
Only good for those who have the hardcover only. Maybe?

Excellent, interesting supplement for Twilight: 2013. Although the guns might not be used often in the default TW2K13 setting, they give some ideas and tool to run a spy vs spy one-shot. Plus, a nice set of additional rules for weapon concealment and detection.

Another cool product from 93 Games Studio. Not as interesting as Alternate Arms but decent as always. It simply adds some more high-powered guns to the TW2K13 collection but has some interesting info for people like me who are not into guns too much. It's worth the price.

Chapter 1: The Twilight War dives straight in. It's mid-July 2013 and WW3 has been going on for at least three years. Right... and then the explanation of how we got to this point begins. There's a Designer's Note that says the break-point between 'real world' history and theirs is January 2007. While the back history is quite detailed, it is also a deliberately broad story so that individual characters or playing groups can decide which elements are most important for them in shaping their game. However, a recurring theme worldwide is food shortage, mostly caused by political misbehaviour. Mix in natural disasters and logical follow-through from various disputes already smouldering, and it is clear how easy a major war could suck just about everyone in - which, of course, for the purposes of the game it did. There are intriguing sidebars from various observers, including a chilling one from a 'private military contractor,' which add colour to a fairly dry account of the alternate hist ... Couldnt wait for a new version of Twilight 2000 to come out and Twilight 2013 fits the bill perfectly. I like the variation in the rules through Stage I to Stage III to add or take complexity out of some of the game mechanics.
Awesome product and some great work here. Cant wait for some new sourcebooks.

An excellent compilation of material from the forums; laid out in a clear, easy to read format. Probably the best part for me is the material on suppressors, but also the price is as good as its ever going to get!

Great job guys, I have been running a campaign for two months now. The Reflex system runs smooth and I have used most of the stage III rules.
Keep up the good work.

This is an excellently presented and sorted out product. The additions to the core rules for Twilight: 2013 are both pertinent and filled many 'holes' in weapons found in the core rules. In particular the addition of 'off-caliber' yet popular rounds in the civil market will in this reader's opinion make this a needed update.
The addition of Stage III rules for weapons will make those playing with them (versus the Stage I/II players) happy to say the least.

More guns - more fun. Every player (and GM!) likes new toys. This book brings more hardware to the world of TW2K13. It's another armoury guide, but nicely done. It will not destroy the game balance.

A very nice and interesting piece of info. Very well ballanced between nerdish facts and gameplay usefulness. An dieal book for people like me who don't know much about guns but would like to give their TW2K13 games more flavour. A lot of interesting ideas fr other settings too!

Unlike Alternate Arms, this was more of an impulse buy. Same high craftsmanship, dual stats and good info can be found in this PDF. The topic isn't very sexy, admittedly, and this is honestly my biggest problem with it: it tries, but in the end the guns covered in here are not that much of a draw to me. At no point did I think to myself that one of my characters would simply *have* to have one of those in her armory, and the guns themselves seem rather bland and utilitarian, especially compared to the delightful madness of Alternate Arms. It's for this reason that I only rate this 4/5, but if you're interested in the topic, this will serve you well. ... [read full review]
