Gravity Age: Cybernetics Emporium
by Anders B. [Verified Purchaser] Date Added: 04/28/2018 08:19:52

The product information states 200+ augmentations. While it should be pointed out that some of those 200+ mentioned items inevetably go into tiered variations of the same feature, we are still looking at expanding the cyber augment features of the core rules (13, not counting tiered versions) by a whopping 100 features (still not counting tiered versions) - ranging from the "flavourful" to the "utility" to the "Oh yeah, power!". And this is not counting an additional set of items/augments referred to as "Malware" which sort of make up a cybernetics take on Cursed Items. Elegantly done, in my book. Very much so.

I would, honestly, be satisfied with just this list of cybernetics things: it adds everything you would expect in a setting such as Starfinder's and by doing so also provides solid pointers at how to make things up on your own (should you for some reason find the list to be lacking).

But, there are also some additional treats in there: rules suggestions on how to implement cybernetics in regards to legal as well as physical aspects, which I found to be very to-the-point and sensible; two Archetypes which both make perfect sense from a settings as well as mechanics point of view; the introduction of a body sleeve type of system and..last but not least a new type of food!

This "rest of the content" gets a very brief treatment: with 24 of the total page count going into the aforementioned augmentations, you get the idea just how brief. But it's all solid content and I find myself wanting more only in the background write-up department, only to immediately find myself realising that all more background write-up would ammount to would be a higher page count.

So, when looking at the price-tag I have to compare this to paying more for a product which may be thicker, but is also devoting page-count to setting specifics.

It gets five stars from me because I got exactly what I was looking for and also expected from this product - all at a reasonable price.

Gravity Age: Mutant Menagerie
by Michael S. [Verified Purchaser] Date Added: 11/30/2017 01:28:34

The book is 77 pages on how to make mutant heroes and monsters as well as a brief definition of the term Mutant. The mechanics are very similar to what I have seen in D20 Future and in the Alterkine series, but this comparison is not meant in any way shape or form to diminish what was accomplished here. Both the other books are from the past and while the one book tries to use the old d20 modern system and tweak and work in this current climate, Mutant Menagerie is meant to e a set of options for Starfinder. As a GM I like optiions both for persons and monsters I throw t my players and as a resource to offer my players should they want it. If I had any complaints about this book it is that is in pdf only and I should like to have it both pdf and print, especially as a resoure that I can have at the table for any player to just paw through especially at character creation. In short I like this book a lot and would recommend it to anyone that would like to add mutants to their games as a varioation on theme or some added spice for players to invest resources into.

Gravity Age: Creature Update 00
by Dillard R. [Verified Purchaser] Date Added: 10/09/2017 23:02:34

Yes this is free. But it would still be worth a dollar or two if it wasn't. Granted this is an appetizer, but this little pdf packs some interesting ideas for creatures. It is also evocative in a way that informs the setting. If you want a setting with intelligently designed critters impacted by technology and fantasy take a look at this.

Gravity Age: Cybernetics Emporium
by Phillip R. [Verified Purchaser] Date Added: 09/26/2017 06:56:59

I'm an old time gammer. When I started, there was only 1 RPG game and the entire genre came in 1 box. My group recently started Starefinder and I'm excited about it. I have witnessed D&D turn into Pathfinder and all the options available; races, classes, templates, equipment... Starfinder in a short period of time will have more options than even Pathfinder because of the nature of science fiction. Cybernetics emporium is a great addition to what (I hope) will be a very successful game plateform. I'm looking forward to more additions of this quality in the future!

Gravity Age: Cybernetics Emporium

I needed to get an edge on other very competitive players in my party (who like to trash talk) and a merciless GM. I was able to equipt my char with unique capabilities and secret abilities. The cybernetics are fully sanctioned, totally useful ...and lethal. These rules are full of surprises that will keep'em guessing.

This is a very cool addition to the Starfinder game. I am a big fan of Cyborgs in a future type game. This book has a lot of options to choose from. It also has new feats and 2 new Archetypes for characters wanting to explore cyborg options for their characters.
