Slagtown: Watchtower II

ADD TO WISHLIST >

Slagtown: Watchtower II is an inexpensive, introductory model set for Finger and Toe Model’s 28mm sci-fi skirmish sets and lets you game in a dystopian future of urban blight.  Slagtown: Watchtower II is a simple, stackable tower platform with parapet with a removable roof.  A complete redesign of the original Slagtown: Watchtower, Watchtower II uses more advanced, photo-quality textures and additional design elements that make it much more attractive on the table.

Slagtown: Watchtower II is priced at an enticing, extraordinarily low price so you can easily see if the Finger and Toe product line is for you.  You can spend hundreds–even thousands–on expensive resin terrain, then weeks of painting before your gaming friends see your two or three masterpieces.  Or . . . after trying Slagtown: Watchtower II, you can spend a few dollars for more of the extensive Finger and Toe line and in just a few hours cover the table. That's why we're called Finger and Toe Models.  We won't cost you an arm and a leg.

Come visit us at www.fingerandtoe.com and see what more you can do with the extensive line of historical, fantasy, and sci-fi model sets.  While Finger and Toe specializes in 28mm scale, many models are scaled for 15mm figures, action figures--some are even scaleless to blend with any models you have.

At $0.50 this is simply unbelievable. At the very least you get a watchtower that will have a lot of use for sci-fi and post-apocalyptic gaming. If you like kitbashing you can build a whole playground with the provided girders, floors and walls. The pi [...]

Another great set with an interior for your minis or pc's to hide in and all at a great price. The only drawback I see is that I couldn't find a functional ladder to access the tower within the set which means I'll have to use one from one of the other [...]

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
